Hirsch Debuts MHM Synchroprint 5000 Automatic Press Series At January Imprinted Sportswear Long Beach Show

December 21, 2015 by

Hirsch MHM SP 5000 002If you’re looking to print more, faster, Synchroprint 5000 automatic screen printing presses from MHM are designed to make it happen. Offered by Hirsch, this next-generation series offers enhanced versions of many of the features in the 4000 series plus additional components to further boost production speed, dependability and print quality.

Building on the 4000 series’ fast set-up features, the 5000 presses offer instant pallet release from the touchscreen display and stronger cylinders to allow platens to raise and lower more quickly. The 5000 models include front and rear micro registration and adjustable front- or side-loading screen holders.

They also have tool-free, wireless front and rear stroke-length adjustments; independent flood/print speed controls; and control keypads on each station with main operator functions. AC-drive print heads with linear guidance deliver smooth, consistent print strokes at all speeds and pressures for superior image quality and precise repeatability. Drive belts are fully enclosed and shielded.

The main control panel on 5000 series presses is a Wi-Fi-enabled full-color touch-screen tablet. It offers simple fingertip commands for primary functions and also allows for online troubleshooting. A built-in USB port allows users to check job status and get software upgrades online.

The optional Go-To Registration System automatically ensures that all the screen holders start from exactly the same position and enters the screen position into memory for future reference. On 5000 series presses, off contact is electronically controlled and included among the settings that can be saved. In addition, the travel distance of the off contact has been shortened for faster printing.

Six- to 18-color models are available. The MHM will debut at the January 2016 Long Beach ISS.

Hirsch Offers PulseID Connect Management And Workflow System For DTG

December 21, 2015 by

PulseIDConnectGarmentSetup

PulseID Connect, offered by Hirsch, is a new order management and workflow system developed specifically for digital direct-to-garment businesses. It provides a standardized communication platform between fulfillment centers and those submitting orders.

It includes a complete automated workflow module to ensure print quality, consistency and efficiency, from ordering through shipping. The system also generates real-time production statistics and reports to enable productivity tracking and facilitate planning.

Production-ready files are generated directly from order data and supplied images and then sent to the printer using barcode technology. The printer configuration for the specific design and garment, including proper image placement information is transmitted to the machine at the operator’s request.

Barcodes also track order status through production and shipping for error-free automated workflow and order management. The system further provides the ability to print production labels, including physical location, for easy garment picking, automated order retrieval and more. Upon order completion, it prints a customer shipping label.

PulseID Connect enables cooperation with customers anywhere, anytime, via an online-based Web portal. This enables users to submit, preview and approve orders, as well as check their status from any modern Web browser.

PulseID Connect also provides product database management and allows for setting images to automatically scale to fit predefined printable locations based on garment size, color etc. It also includes the ability to create templates that can be personalized during ordering with variable data using an optional vector engine personalization mode.

The PulseID Application Program Interface can be integrated into an existing ordering system or website, storing the data in a standardized, nonencrypted XML format. For more information, contact Hirsch at (800) 394-4426; email: care@hic.us; or go to www.hic.us.

New PulseCloud Allows Embroiderers To Work From Anywhere Via A Mobile Device

November 18, 2014 by

DG15

The new PulseCloud, offered by Hirsch, now allows you to take your productivity on the go. Available to all owners of the new Tajima DG15 by Pulse digitizing software, PulseCloud allows embroiderers to upload all their designs to a secure location and work with them away from their desktops. Imagine having the capability to work from anywhere in your facility as well as from home, the car, the airport, essentially anywhere you go.

From your mobile device PulseCloud gives you access to your designs so you can search, tag, show to customers, and post to social media. You also can edit, change text or fonts, change thread colors, and more. PulseCloud is connected to your embroidery equipment, which allows you to see which machines are running, find out why a machine has stopped, manage each machine’s job queue, and send new jobs.

PulseCloud stores up to 100,000 designs and provides pertinent information about each one including how many bytes, how many stitches, and the dimensions of the embroidery file. It also shows a thumbnail of each design.

Another PulseCloud perk is bonus fonts. While there are 165 fonts included with DG15, there are 200 fonts available in the PulseCloud with more fonts to be added periodically. Thread charts from all major suppliers are included so no matter what brand thread you use, you can automatically change it from your phone.

Pulse Releases Autograph Version 2 Embroidery Personalization Software

August 6, 2014 by

Hirsch Pulse Auto2

Autograph 2 is the latest upgrade to Pulse’s standalone software that is designed to enhance and speed up the process of designing embroidered monogramming and lettering for retail businesses.

Offered by Hirsch, some of the new features include the gathering of all essential functions in one tab for faster, easier access. There is a larger design area and a new fit-to-hoop option that automatically sizes lettering to fit within a specified space.

Users can now toggle between templates more easily, and the icons are larger to make it more functional in Windows 8. Fonts and thread charts have been updated, and you can easily create decorative borders for any text.

A real time saver is the templates, which eliminate the work of digitizing. Simply select a design and enter the text. Autograph also features powerful editing tools that allow you to align, transform, rotate, and resize designs to customer specifications.

The standard version of Autograph comes with 217 fonts, and there are a number of optional fonts that can be purchased. Doing special effects such as 3D foam or creating text with a drop shadow is a fast, one-step process. There also is a garment preview function that makes it easy to present a design for customer approval.
